    Hair fall is a common problem nowadays. Everyone is suffering from hair fall due to pollution and bad eating habits like eating junk food, etc. Majorly, hair fall is happening due to genetics. For example, if your father or mother or grandparents had suffered from hair fall, then there is an 80% chance that you will also suffer. But by some methods or habits, you can delay it. Firstly, you should know the reasons why hair fall occurs.

    Causes of Hair Fall

    1. Genetics –

    Primary cause of hair fall. Genes or DNA inherited from parents can contain information that predisposes individuals to conditions such as male-pattern baldness (androgenetic alopecia) or female-pattern baldness. These genetic factors can influence the hair growth cycle, hair follicle sensitivity to hormones, and overall hair health, ultimately contributing to hair loss.

    2. Eating un-nutritious food –

    After genetics, the second big reason for hair fall is eating un-nutritious food which does not have proper nutrients like protein, carbohydrates, and minerals, which are most important for hair. Eating junk food or oily food is harmful to your heart as well as your hair. So, if you are in the early stages of hair fall, you should avoid junk food and eat food that has a proper amount of protein, fiber, and carbohydrates.

    3. Stress –

    Today, the world is very fast and everyone is in a hurry to make money or do something, but we forget that we are earning for living, not living for earning. So, taking too much stress increases your anxiety and your body releases hormones in an excessive way, which is not good for healthy hair.

    4. Poor digestion –

    Digestion plays a vital role in the healthiness of all your body parts. Hair fall happens when nutrients are not reaching all your body parts. When you eat something, its nutrients should be absorbed properly, and this happens only when your digestion is good and absorbs all types of nutrients. For preventing your hair fall, diet and its absorption are very important.

    5. Use of chemicals and hair products –

    Hair fall happens when you use a high amount of hair products to style your hair. In most products, there are harmful chemicals that are not good for your hair. Most companies use harsh chemicals like parabens and silicone for foams, and these chemicals are not good for your hair as well as your scalp.

    How to prevent it –

    1. By eating a healthy diet –

    Diet is the most important part of our health. Our body is a machine, and to run it smoothly, a healthy diet acts like oil. So, when you eat a healthy diet, your body stays healthy, and all nutrients help keep your body healthy. Your hair is also made up of 70% protein. If you include protein in your diet, then your hair becomes strong from its roots, the chances of hair fall go down, and new hair grows on your head.

    2. By doing exercise and yoga –

    After diet, the second most effective cure for your hair is doing exercise and yoga. By doing exercise, blood flow increases and reaches all parts of your body, including your head. When you do exercise, your body releases happy hormones which are good for your health. Your stress level reduces and your body responds in a very good way. Doing 45 minutes a day, 4 or 5 days a week keeps your body healthy. If you do yoga like sheershasan or chakrasan, blood flow increases in your head and your hair grows rapidly.

    3. By taking supplements –

    Supplements are a good option for regaining your hair. Hair fall happens due to a deficiency of magnesium and zinc. You can complete the requirement of these by taking pills of magnesium and zinc. There are various types of medicines, oils, and steroids that you can use to regain your hair.

    4. By using Minoxidil –

    Minoxidil is a medical hair growth serum that has steroids which push out the hair from your scalp that is in the resting position. You can use Minoxidil to regain your hair. You can consult a specialist doctor for your scalp type before using Minoxidil. There are several companies in the market which sell Minoxidil, but you should consult your doctor before using any Minoxidil.

    Conclusion –

    Hair fall is a common problem nowadays. We discussed some causes and how to prevent it, delay it, or regain your hair. If you take care of your hair, you can stop hair fall. Taking oil massages, getting sunlight, and having a good nutritious diet helps to prevent this from happening, stop it, and regain your hair.
